The location of the hotel is stunning, with beautiful views all around. the staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, with the Portuguese chef standing out for his delicious Chafana dish. the scenic walking trails in the area were a nice bonus for those who enjoy the outdoors. As someone who was there for a wedding in nearby Bishop's Castle, I didn't have much time to fully explore the surroundings, but the Hall behind the pub and its serene lake were truly captivating. The property itself exudes character and charm, and the comfortable bed provided a very good night's sleep. the shower was amazing, and the complimentary toiletries added a touch of luxury to the experience. the breakfast selection was good and the coffee was nice. the hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and free parking, making it convenient for guests arriving by car. Overall, this hotel offers good value for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting.
